Truly Compelling Stuff

This podcast is excellent. I just discovered it, apparently quite belatedly. And, although I often have trouble with field recordings and sound art, this podcasts seems to separate the wheat from the chaff. Or, at least it presents some really compelling material in digestible one-hour bursts.

EBK2012-1 ,

quickly becoming my favorite show

The beauty of these recordings, the tranquility and diversity, merits words, but just writing seems to undermine the pleasure that comes from listening to curated sounds sans human story.

I love them.

And you should, too.
