Concerning the Militia - [Freedom Papers Ep. 35]

Concerning the Militia - [Freedom Papers Ep. 35]

Morgan Zegers and co-host Connor Clegg, discuss Federalist Paper 29, “Concerning the Militia.” While previous papers covered the role of a standing army, Hamilton’s Paper 29 focuses on the importance of having a federally controlled, standardized system of expectations for all state militias.

Connor and Morgan point out that top-down regulation of these militias would ensure that all states across the country, regardless of size or population, have equality of force.

Restraining the Legislative Authority Continued - [Freedom Papers Ep. 34]

Co-host Connor Clegg returns this week with Morgan Zegers to continue the conversation about restraining the government’s authority. A timely topic of discussion, Connor and Morgan relate the new Governance Disinformation Board to Anti-Federalist concerns of federal tyranny.
In Federalist Paper 28, Hamilton explains that while he understands the concerns of potential unchecked tyranny, federal power is necessary to protect the nation as a whole and individual states from oppressive local leadership.

Bureaucratic Power with Micah Bock - [Freedom Papers Ep. 33]

Bureaucratic Power with Micah Bock - [Freedom Papers Ep. 33]

Morgan Zegers is joined by Turning Point Ambassador, Micah Bock, to discuss how the legislature vested a significant amount of its powers to the executive branch. Our founders never envisioned additional executive arms of the government within three-letter bureaucratic agencies with potential to utilize force similar to that of the military.
Hamilton believed that the people’s confidence and obedience to the government would largely depend on the goodness or badness of the administration. Morgan and Micah disagree with his belief, faulting the current divisive two-party system where simply doing a good job is no longer enough to avoid criticism.

America’s Deterioration and the Administrative State - [Freedom Papers Ep. 32]

America’s Deterioration and the Administrative State - [Freedom Papers Ep. 32]

This week, Jack Posobiec joins Morgan Zegers to discuss the founding father's original intent and how America has continued to gradually veer further away from those core ideals and principles.
Jack explains how President Woodrow Wilson, scientific theories, and Social Darwinism have led to our current system of government and the ever-growing administrative state. Morgan and Jack determine how future political candidates and everyday Americans could get the United States back on the right path through the championing of our founding documents.

Professor Scott Yenor joins Morgan Zegers to discuss the specific roles of parents in the keeping of our society and promoting family values. In this week’s episode, Morgan and Scott explore the idea of an enlightened and vigilant public to restrain government overreach.
Scott explains how our culture and society have pushed the idea of “capstone” marriages, where both men and women are encouraged to prioritize their careers as individuals before marriage and family planning.

Historical intent of FREEDOM

There is nowhere else to go on this Earth. We must learn from our past and these historical papers give a bird’s eye view of the original intent, base arguments, and reasoning behind our United States Constitution. Thanks Megan, for presenting it fairly and applying it to modern day. I just bought my first book of the Federalist Papers and love this podcast as a great addition to historical learning!! A must hear if you love Liberty and Freedom. ❤️

Marry me

There’s something incredibly sexy about a woman who both understands and articulates truth boldly and unapologetically. It’s one half of a binary unit that has the potential to become one of the fundamental institutional building blocks of a thriving culture and society. You’re a free and independent woman who can make your own choices. Choose a good husband who will lead, provide, and protect you as God has purposed for you. Be mine, I can handle you.

Regarding Federalist #10; yes this country is completely diverse, and yes, we will never agree; and thank God for that. That is why we are a Republic, not a Democracy. We need to have 50 experiments, not 1 experiment.

What happens if the Woke Cult succeeds in increasing the power of the federal government? If things turn bad, if gangrene sets in, to save the body you may need to cut off a limb. Not ideal, but, when push comes to shove, what do you do?

I believe in a two party system. If we believe in individual liberty, a liberal democracy, that government is a necessary evil, then you can have a push/pull to create a more perfect union.
Imagine classic conservatives that believe government is a
necessary Evil.
Imagine a classic liberal that believes government is a Necessary evil. Today the Far Right and Far Left believe in communal liberty, believe that government is beyond necessary and is the only good.
Before you look to break the two party system, look at Israel. In a multi-party system, you will have minority rule. To gain a majority, the minority radical views can make demands just to get the vote over the line.
