The life of a media relations specialist was the focus of discussion today. We were honored to sit down with Desiree Battaglia of Northwestern Medicine this morning and learn from her. This was Desiree’s second time on the show, her first was way back! So you could also call it a flashback Friday! From prepping doctors and nurses for interviews to capturing the stories of patients, Desiree is certainly on the move! We spoke about professionalism and how to succeed in business and life. Additionally, we talked about the changes to her job due to the pandemic and what work is like now. For so many of us, our lives have been turned upside down. How do we get back to a ‘sense of normalcy’? Or, will we ever? These topics and more are what we explored and we had such a great chat. We also talked about wine and food as well!
Shouts go out to Tredwell, A Call To Shoulders & the American Legion. Breast Cancer & Domestic Violence Awareness continue; help out or donate if you can. Remember that first Friday (Nov. 6th) next month will be mostly virtual. Shouts also go out to VizoArts and Cotton Seed. Stay tuned for more cool content and we’d like to say thank you to all of our supporters, listeners and fans. Mitigation efforts are in place, please be safe this weekend and don’t forget to wear a mask! And last but not least: vote, vote, vote! Don’t forget to vote! We’ll see you all back here Monday on your favorite morning show. Be blessed, strong and motivated. Peace!
