    John Gage Seeks to Innovate

An experience with hypothermia while backpacking shifted his perspective on gear culminating in the founding of Appalachian Gear Company. He and Jason sat in a windy AT shelter one afternoon discussing John’s history with the outdoors, his career in textiles, and the path to 100% alpaca clothing.

    Taylor Carpenter on Static Climbing

Climber Taylor Carpenter taught herself to sew and started a business—Static Climbing—in her bedroom. Dedication, serendipity, and contributions from others would help it grow into a successful operation serving a global climbing market. Best podcast to do laundry to

I’ve been playing this podcast during laundry folding which I used to hate. Now I *look forward* to doing laundry so I can listen to these stories. I am happier and probably smell better.
Jason, you have made the world a better place.

Totally great podcast! (but dry mouth)

Love this podcast! Great topics, great guests. Jason is a natural and personable interviewer. My one and only gripe is that you can hear his dry mouth. Maybe he can drink some water during interviews? Otherwise it’s perfect. Keep up the great work!

Loving the diversity of the guests!

The wealth of knowledge I’ve gained listening to Go Get Outside makes me feel more comfortable in the outdoors. It’s inspiring and gives you direct insight into the trials and tribulations of the men/women who explore this pale blue dot.
