About this episode:

This is a move that has become more prevalent in recent years, something that makes Ryan pretty much a pioneer in this space, relatively speaking. In this episode, he explains the differences he's seeing as well as what needs to be done to bridge the gap between the two industries.

Customer Reviews
Thanks Brandon & Larry!
I’m a prospective indie game developer. I know C# & C++ and I’m working in Unity. I’ve always wanted to make my own games but never found the motivation after working 14+ hour shifts in the transportation industry. Thanks to this podcast, I’ve eliminated all excuses to pursue my ambitions. All the interviews of self taught developers and success stories have inspired me to dedicate myself to what makes me happy, programming and developing an actual game I can share with the world one day! I can’t thank LC & BF enough for this great contribution. The podcast is very entertaining and even more informative. A true wealth of content to the community of unchained development everywhere!
Yikes
A year ago this podcast was pretty decent. They had guests that would talk about their games and their struggles and their achievements, etc. For the past 6 or 7 months it’s just whining and complaining about Covid. Went downhill after Larry left for sure.
Real experience
This podcast discuss topics that are true to the current industry and is well humored. Definitely a good listen if you’re interested in the intricacies of game development
