Best Sci-Fi Pod Of All Time

Geeks Guide to the Galaxy is far and away the best podcast for lovers of science fiction, fantasy, horror, and intellectually stimulating discussions. I miss John Joseph Adams but David Barr Kirtley is a great host, interviewer, and moderator. I especially enjoy it when Kirtley digs into the guests reading backgrounds.

I look forward to checking out the weeks topic every Friday. Sometimes I’m a little disappointed in the topic choice but invariably Kirtley delivers a thought provoking and entertaining show.

During the pandemic I revisited the first 100 shows. They aged very well and were a lot of fun. Thank you and keep up the great work.👍🏼👍🏼

Great Conversations About Science Fiction and Fantasy

Discovered David Barr Kirtley’s podcast several years ago, and have been listening in ever since. David has interesting and purposeful conversations with the leading lights of science fictions and fantasy. I consistently learn a lot from the show, whether it’s a round table discussion of schlocky 80s dungeons and dragons movies or a conversation with a grand master of science fiction. I particularly enjoy the balance between screen, print, and gaming content, and welcome the exposure to great new material that has enriched my life.

A Wish

I love your group discussions. Would love to have a multiple episode series reviewing Asimov’s Robot and Foundation series covering all of the older and newer books in the order of the story. The over arching story is fascinating and a unique history of the future
