George Revel of Lost Coast Outfitters (SF) talks Bay Area Surf Fishing and running a fly shop in the City The Barbless.co Fly Fishing Podcast with Hogan Brown

George Revel grew up in Redding CA amongst the trout and steelhead rivers of Shasta County. Eventually relocating to San Francisco after high school and working in various fly shops in the city he decided to open his own shop, Lost Coast Outfitters, in the back of a small men's shop in SF. Now Lost Coast Outfitters is THE fly shop in San Francisco, a city with one of the richest fly fishing histories on the west coast. George has introduced a whole new generation of anglers to the beaches of the bay area and shown anglers that there MANY fishing opportunities within their own city and area that do not require hours of time in the car. Helping people get outdoors and fish locally has been a passion of Georges since the creation LCO.
