Welcome to the "Positively Inspired CoParenting" podcast, hosted by Sai Gonzalez and featuring Rick Hartley. This podcast brings a transformative approach to cooperative co-parenting, based on Sai and Rick's personal journey of turning challenges into a harmonious and nurturing environment for their children. It's time to get past the old, failed relationship to make room for a brand-new cooperative co-parenting partnership / relationship. Your children will thank you forever for doing so.

Rick experienced a tumultuous childhood due to his parents' dysfunctional co-parenting after their divorce when he was just 8 years old. This traumatic experience shaped his perspective on the importance of a healthy co-parenting relationship, though he initially struggled to implement this in his own life.

Rick and his first wife divorced after 8 years, leaving their two children to navigate the fallout of a troubled co-parenting relationship. During this time, neither Rick nor his first wife fully understood the concept of positive co-parenting, which led to further challenges and stress for their children. Sai, as their stepmom, witnessed firsthand the negative impacts of this dysfunction.

After Rick and Sai divorced following 14 years of marriage and two children of their own, they knew their approach to co-parenting had to change. Determined to prioritize their children's well-being, they worked tirelessly to create a new dynamic that was supportive and stable. Initially living apart, Rick moved back into the family home after three years, creating a unique roommate-style arrangement that brought immense joy to their kids, sparing them the stress of moving between homes.

During this 10-year period, they developed an innovative co-parenting framework, one that isn't commonly discussed by traditional co-parenting programs. Their strategy focuses on building a new relationship post-divorce, emphasizing self-responsibility regardless of the other parent's behavior. This approach primarily supports clients where both parents are committed to the work but also includes processes for situations where one parent refuses to participate. With more than 40 years of combined experience, from the perspective of both a child in a co-parenting situation and as co-parents themselves, their podcast and programs offer invaluable insights and practical advice.

Join them as they share their journey, strategies, and the lessons they've learned, along with inspiring success stories from parents who have transformed their co-parenting dynamics. Their goal is to support a community that values their kids' well-being above all else.
