Mel also talks about the recent death of #PGA golfer Greyson Murray, his suicide & the new suicide help line “988”, to make sure all know these 3 digits!

Gatorade & #MichaelJordan release and new “Is it in You” commercial featuring #CaitlinClark #AjaWilson and more, which Mel shares with the show.  Speaking of Caitlin & A’ja, the ladies discuss the #IowaHawkeye fanbase in Vegas Saturday as the Aces took on the Fever.  Watching Kate & Caitlin along with Megan all being supported by their former coaches & tons of fans!  A’ja has been dominating the #WNBA making more records and #HERstory for herself so early in the season.  The ladies discuss recent happenings in the league, including the new #SLAMMagazine cover with Dawn Staley. Oh, and we are nearing the end of the #NBAPlayoffs will the Timberwolves have what it takes to come back from a 3-1 series deficit? Can the Celtics win their 19th banner?  And did you think you would see Cottonwood blowing through Minnesota like a winter storm? The ladies enjoying a #WestCoastWednesday mid #NBAPlayoffs so they had to tap in for a shorter version of the show to discuss what’s been on their minds in #SportsNews Its with a heavy heart that we learn the #NBAonTNT will have its final season in 2024-25, what will we do without Shaq, Ernie, Kenny & Chuck? What will #NBAonNBC fill our basketball love with? Time will only tell.  We are officially in the #NBAConferenceFinals watching Celtics win in OT yesterday and the Mavs/Wolves today.  Either way its great to see some young new faces in the mix.  

The #WNBA continues to break records in attendance, viewership and social media trolls! So much from #CaitlinClark getting a new Wilson deal to #AngelReese taking part ownership in the #DCPowerFC to Cameron Brink’s blocks to secure the Sparks first win.  Now these #LVAces wow! The ladies were sponsored by the #LVCVA for $100k each for this season and next, but of course controversy is alway close behind, as it was reported shortly after the #WNBA would be investigating it.  The Aces had a terrible defenseless loss to the Mercury last night and have to get their heads back on as they face the #IndianaFever this Saturday at home, a 4 game home run to start the season before heading out on the road. The ladies also have to give love to #KeonColeman as he continues to make new fans across team boarders with his kind acts.  Mel then shares a few ladies who exemplify #GirlPower

It’s another West Coast Wednesday and the ladies are feeling great with the start of the #WNBA Season!  The “W” I back and the ladies did not disappoint. With 4 games on Tuesday and 2 tonight, the action has been stacked.  The Fever/Sun game drew 2.1 MILLION viewers, the most in 23yrs for the league and new faces like #CaitlinClark #AngelReese #CameronBrink and more were the talk of the season.  But Mo & Mel were taking in all of what the #LVACES had to offer on their Championship Ring & Banner night, from the ceremony, the attendees like #TomBrady Mayweather, VGK & Raiders amongst the many.  Theres a new court, new colors, new rookies & a new season to get ready for, all in front of a new attendance record of 10,419! #AjaWilson and #KelseyPlum with new deals, shoes & photoshoots, plus FIRE pre-game fits that had social media buzzing! 

Plus we are also in the midst of the #NBAPlayoffs with just 8 (and 7 by the end of the night) teams left in the battle, but what had the ladies talking the most is that NBA’s deal with #NBC and what may come, or not come of the #NBAonTNT crew we have all grown to love.  What will basketball be without Shaq, Chuck, Kenny & Ernie, yikes. But what we have all been waiting on this week, the #NFLSchedule release dropped, and the teams did not disappoint in their ways of giving the fans what they want, from videos, sketches, comics, pictures and posts, it has been entertaining.  

The last part of the show Mo & Mel take some time to really address the buffoonery speech by #KCChiefs kicker, #HarrisonButker who’s commencement speech has gone viral for his 1950s thoughts on life, including what women should be most excited about being a “homemaker”.  Listen in for the full rundown of the ladies thoughts on this one!

The ladies had a special “Long” edition of the show tonight, starting off with the #VegasThrill Head Coach Fran Flory.  The Thrill are the Las Vegas professional women’s volleyball team part of the #ProVolleyballFederation and Mo & Mel get to chat with Coach Fran about her history in the game & experience this inaugural season for the league.  Don’t let Coach get passed that she is VERY accomplished former player & Collegiate coach in the game!  She let the ladies know her time playing & coaching and reason for her coming out of retirement to coach this Vegas team!  The Thrill’s home is at the Lee’s Family Forum (formerly the Dollar Loan Center) and from what coach said, the League believes it to be the BEST arena to play in! Thats LOVE.  Coach Fran also discusses the importance of the HUGE Volleyball family already here in Las Vegas, the fans that really show up for this team and just some background on the league, which will be expanding to 10 teams next season.  The ladies learn about the pay for these pro-volleyball ladies, and whats coming in the future, as well as her hopes for how the league takes off.  After all #EveryOneWatchesWomensSports
