Faces of Unbelief in Africa | Paul Nyamuda
There are many reasons why people on the African continent have resisted the Gospel. Whilst many have appreciated the idea of needing salvation, they have found it difficult to break away from their traditional African worldview which values the role of intermediaries between God and man. This has resulted in syncretism where many have happily mixed Christianity with traditional African religion and ancestral worship. Others have resisted the Gospel because they perceive it to be from the West. They see Christianity as the religion of the colonialists and essentially the White man’s religion. The truth is that all men everywhere need a saviour because all men everywhere have sinned. The Gospel is not just for the West because the depravity of man cannot be compartmentalised into certain regions of the world. Sin is a human problem. In this message I would like to answer the question; Is Christianity the White Man’s Religion?

Faces Of Unbelief And Scepticism (Pt. 2) | Paul Nyamuda
In this message my goal is to highlight the overarching belief system of agnostics and also the post-modern worldview. I will also show you how the Bible has scriptures that speak directly to these beliefs. My aim is to also show you the logical end of these beliefs and the incisive questions one can ask those who hold such views. As we build a skill set for dealing with various faces of unbelief and scepticism, it is important to remember God’s heart for the unsaved and make sure that we carry that heart in all our conversations. Ezekiel 18:23: "Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked? declares the Sovereign Lord. Rather, am I not pleased when they turn from their ways and live?" 1 Timothy 2:3-4: "This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth."

The Faces of Unbelief and Scepticism | Paul Nyamuda
In this message I would like to categorize various forms of unbelief and scepticism towards Christianity. I also aim to demonstrate that the Bible has something to say about each of these states. We will focus on atheism. Next week I will explore other forms of unbelief such as agnosticism and the postmodern worldview. After that we will look at the Afrocentric idea that Christianity is a western religion. It is important for us to be grounded in scriptures and know what we believe and why as we begin to engage with society.

Why it is reasonable to believe in God | Paul Nyamuda
Apologetics is that branch of Christian theology which answers the question, Is Christianity rationally defensible? One of the central themes of apologetics is to do with the existence of God. Genesis 1:1: "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." In this message I aim to provide for you the logical necessity of a transcendent, eternal being as the ultimate explanation for the existence of the universe. Believing in God is fundamental for anyone who wants to tap into a faith filled life. Many people are religious but do not live like God exists.

The Rationale for Christian Apologetics | Paul Nyamuda
1 Peter 3:15 urges Christians to revere Christ and explain their hope with gentleness, forming the basis of apologetics. Despite this, many avoid it due to fear of doubt, the belief in faith alone, or the perception of complexity. However, apologetics is essential for all believers to fulfill this scriptural command and effectively share the gospel, breaking down barriers to faith.
In this series, What We Believe and Why, my assignment is to prepare you to give such answers. If we truly love those who are still unsaved, we must be willing to study the field of apologetics so that with God’s help we can break barriers that are hindering people from getting saved. -
Carrying God’s Heart For The Nations | Vimbai Chariga
This is a messianic Psalm which discloses the heart of God toward His own Son. This conversation introduces an amazing declaration that all the nations of the world are intended to come under the protection of His Son’s rule. However, the qualifier is, ask. Jesus came to inherit the nations, not some, all. He came to possess the ends of the earth. To infiltrate power centres through His influence. To establish the Kingdom of heaven on this earth. To show that God has a personal interest in the in all the people groups of the earth.
Jesus made it very clear that part of His mission was to equip His disciples so that His message, the message of the Gospel would spread into the world.
