we share this prayer, we share this moment of silence…

silky black wings fluttering over pink buds on green stalks 

and now striped buzzing winged one intervenes

I keep opening myself to my love and longing 

for fat pink roses warmed by the sun, and there is grief… 

I step into the morning sun, warm upon my face, brisk chill in the air… 

I offer, I offer to the rawness of this moment, cool and warm at once… 

my buffalo brothers and sisters trample me into dust 

the brittleness of the suffering structures…let it be done… 

let the pureness of the longing and desire resurrect

I am the mother, I am the daughter, granddaughter, sister… 

I am the Great Mother, today is the day, 

I am the One and He is with me…
