Millennial Growing Pains
Have you ever gone through a difficult time and were told that it's all just part of growing up? Have you heard of the most recent trend in wellness, the Growth Mindset? Do you wonder if this is just another bs movement, like the Positive Thoughts trend? Let's dissect what growth means, the ways it challenges us, and how Milllennials can channel all of our angst to make a difference. Episode featuring special episode art by Madeleine Valentin and "Healing" by Anaís Azul, the musical hymn for self-care.

Inadequate
Sometimes you look around and everyone seems to be doing leaps and bounds better than you. In this episode, I address the all-too-common flood of panic we all experience occasionally, where it feels like nothing we do is good enough. I explore some of the larger societal constructs that contribute to this phenomenon, and how I try to help free myself of it. Thanks for listening.

Ties that Bend
As you grow and transform, so do your friendships. Sometimes you outgrow them, sometimes they forget you, sometimes it's a mutual parting filled with love and goodwill. In this episode, Romina dives into the murky world of non-romantic relationships to get to the bottom of ties that bind, ties that break, and ties that bend.

Adulting, Pt. 1 - Weight of the World
Remember when you were a kid and wanted nothing more than to be a grownup? Remember when you became a grownup sometime in your 20s and your world just flipped on its head? Throw in all the sociopolitical tragedies we're constantly filtering through hectic news headlines and you've got a life wrought with conflicting feelings and thought patterns. Kim and I take a stab and identifying just what exactly it is that causes all the 20-somethings to feel miserable, and figuring out how to cope with massively depressing events like domestic terrorism and the anti-immigrant campaigns. Stay light, friends.

The most honest and relatable podcasts I’ve ever listened to
Going Mntl has definitely become that addictive podcast I look forward to listen to every Monday, just like a favorite TV show, making the beginning of my week easier and comforting me with the fact that many of the struggles I go through myself are faced by many others, and hearing about those topics so clearly by someone else helps us see we’re not alone in this world. The episodes talk about many different relatable topics that we usually tend to avoid or pretend they are not that big of a deal or worth to discuss, but every time I listen to an episode I feel like Romina is speaking directly to me, which brings me a lot of comfort - specially knowing that it comes from a very honest place. Thank you, Romina, for sharing your knowledge and thoughts from experiences you went through yourself. You and your work have inspired me so much!

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed seeing the world through her lens and getting to know her through this honest and thought provoking show.
