This episode touches on the Torrey revival in Australia, the Welsh Revival of 1904 and the revivals in India 1905, Azusa Street 1906, Korea 1907, Manchuria 1908, and Chile 1909-1910.

In this episode we cover the prayer meetings of 1858 in the United State, as well as the revival in Ulster, Wales, and in South Africa.

This episode covers the revivals at Cane Ridge, Yale in 1802 and the early ministry of Charles Finney. It is taken from a class taught at First Covenant Evangelical Church in Grand Rapids, MI.

Praying for revival is one of the most impactful things we can do as believers in Christ. According to J. Edwin Orr Revival is "the awakening or quickening of God's people to their true nature and purpose." In this midweek teaching at Salt River Assembly, my purpose is to stir up desire and faith to pray for revival.

1. We remember the past and how far we've fallen
2. We gain a vision for the Kingdom of God
3. We grab hold of the promises of God.
4. We remember past revivals where God has poured out His Spirit.
5. We engage in extraordinary, repentant, sustained prayer for our communities.

God does not have favorites. What He has done for other communities in past generations, He can do for us.
