Grace Community Church is a group of Christ followers scattered throughout the Jackson-Metro area who: exist for Jesus (Colossians 1:16), have been purchased by Jesus (1 Corinthians 6:20), and are seeking to magnify the worth and beauty of Jesus in everything we do (Phillippians 1:20-21). Simply stated, "CHRIST IS ALL," to us (Colossians 3:11). Our aim is to obey the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) in the spirit of the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:37-39). Thus our mission is to bring great glory to God by making disciples of all nations ... through seeking to stir up love for God and others ... expressed through gospel-centered worship, gospel-centered service, gospel-centered community, and gospel-centered multiplication to the ends of the earth. Hebrews 13:17

"Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls, as those who will have to give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of no advantage to you."

    Reflecting and Resolving

    Reflecting and Resolving

13 Come now, you who say, "Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit"-- 14 yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes. 15 Instead you ought to say, "If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that." 16 As it is, you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil. 17 So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin.

In the Days of His Flesh

In the Days of His Flesh

"In the days of his flesh, Jesus offered up prayers and supplications, with loud cries and tears, to him who was able to save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverence. Although he was a son, he learned obedience through what he suffered. And being made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey him," (Hebrews 5:7-9).

Some of the best exposition of Scripture in Jackson,MS

After acquiring a taste for expository preaching a few years ago, I was in search for a church that accurately explained the Scriptures verse by verse. Being a native of the Bible Belt, I have been accustomed to fluffy, soft served, topical message all my life. This church does not cater to that traditional southern method of teaching. These gifted men awaken your emotions for Jesus by explaining the text didactically verse by verse, and explaining it well!

PTL. May God be glorified

Being able to go back and listen to this podcast during the week after church is great for revisiting the truths of scripture.
