Great overview still much needed today

Thank you Kyle for educating us on the history of the war. I hope you start up again with your musings about Afghanistan. You called it that Taliban would take over someday.

Past and present of the Afghan war

These 15 minute bite size nuggets give you a feel as to what has been going on with the Afghan war for the past 50 years. If you want to know the who(s)and why(s) of the cause of the Afghan war, give this a thorough listen. You will find out who the power players are and what political scheming takes place to keep the illusion of a stable Afghanistan. The sound quality is top notch and the producer gets straight to the point. The first two episodes can appear dry to some listeners, but before writing it off give three and four a quick listen. The producer adds analogies to help you visualize the chaos happening with the Afghan people. The podcast is getting better with each episode as the producer is adding current events that coincide with Afghanistan and getting in stride with the podcast flow.
