    EP 37: Maeva Heim

Today's guest is the epitome of a beauty visionary. Maeva Heim, founder of Bread Beauty Supply, created her inclusive hair care brand in the middle of last year (and in the middle of a pandemic, no less). With a cult-following developing almost overnight, her products are developed for any hair texture, any curl pattern and any hair concern. In other words, they've quite literally changed the hair care game overnight.

In today's episode, the Melbournian chats to Danielle Gay (beauty director & executive editor) and Rose Garnett (beauty writer) about getting picked up by Sephora US before she'd even launched, launching a brand during a pandemic and why wash day is the best day of the week.

EP 22: Joey Scandizzo

What a great episode!
I listen to GP pretty faithfully, it’s just a truly good, informative podcast.
I loved hearing Joeys story-how he came up into the hairdressing business to owning salons, etc. He sounds SO relatable, although he’s accomplished so much and is a big name in hair! He seems like someone that you would love to sit and have a beer with, lol(maybe while he did my hair? Just an idea...). He really broke down the reasons why Dyson is so superior and how well it protects hair, etc. Joey made me want a Supersonic more than I already did..so,a LOT. Movement,life,bounce,quality...all words I’ll associate with this dryer for the rest of my life, lol. I would love to try his hair products. Also the Copper colorway...I love it. How chic.
GP, you guys did it again with *another* episode that made me want to spend money on *another* product(except this time, I literally can’t do it. I wish!)

Be safe, everyone! Watch out for each other. : )

Joey Scandizzo - An Unassuming Tsunami

Joe is such a joy to listen to. He is so laid back, unassuming and down to earth and yet he is a force to be reckoned with within his industry. His drive for perfection, with a dash of humor, makes him an inspiration to those in his industry. He is also a source of reliable knowledge for those of us just trying to tame our tresses!
