Do you ever feel like you're going the long way round? You think surely there must be a shorter, more exciting, easier way to get to the next thing in life? God sometimes does things "suddenly" but for most of life we are on a continual journey of character building. Shortcuts can often lead to a downfall and there is a lot of growth in simply being faithful during the 'long way round'.
