Great new podcast

As a new dad and a blue belt in Jiu Jitsu, I really enjoyed this podcast. Andy as the first guest was a great way to kick off the show. I already love his podcast Cleared Hot. My favorite part so far was hearing the host tell their stories about being parents and trying to navigate their way through parenthood with the highs and the lows. Keep them coming and I can’t wait to hear the next episode.

Great podcast

Awesome first guest in Andy S but I was also very interested in hearing more from and about the show hosts Travis and Kisa.

Kid kicking

I truly enjoyed the show. As a father of 4 boys, I completely advocate for the kicking kids across the room. From a disciplinary perspective, muscle failure is a GREAT avenue to discipline. When arms and legs are shaking during a push-up position and a tear is forming I’ll ask said child, “Is this fun? Would you rather of done the right thing or be doing this?”. This question will usually drive my point across. Plus the muscle soreness will be a constant reminder that their actions have consequences, good or bad.
