So close!
This is a humans vs zombies story with lots of fun small town horror elements and strong women characters. But also: The women are pretty objectified and sometimes overly silly, and there is a particularly distressing rape/sex slave story line, as well as an even more distressing storyline involving a girl child. Plus one beastiality joke. Horror has a lot to apologize for in how it treats women and girls. And this story is no exception, plenty of cws that really should be listed but aren’t. It also has some more appealing things, to.
"The evil didn't take, guys." - Dead Tom to his fellow zombies.
I've only listened to the first chapter, but I think this one is a real gem. Very original and funny, and mysterious enough to hook you into the story fast. I love it!
