Years later, he would be sentence to 20 years in a maximum security prison for attempting to kill another woman. In her book, Burn Down the Ground, Kambri writes openly about the challenges and misconceptions of being raised by deaf parents and her eventual reconciliation with her father as he was dying of cancer in prison.
