Trust me, you need to hear what Harry has to say. His experiences and first-hand accounts are a valuable warning of the consequences that accompany the decisions being made by our political leaders today. I wish this was mandatory listening for everyone who is eligible to vote in any democratic country!

Harry Leslie Smith endured the hell of poverty during the Depression, and calls to the current generation to remember the world as it was when he was a child, to avoid falling through austerity and the dismantling of the welfare state back into that time of despair. His words are moving and relevant on both sides of the Atlantic, as the Far Right rises and the world slips towards the dark. It’s worth your time to listen to him.
