Why do bad things happen to good people? What we know is that the bad things that happen to us don't hinder the good things that God desires to do in us. It’s possible to grow in the dark.

Many people have been affected by suicide in some way, yet it is not often discussed in churches. So, how can we support each other during such a dark time? Dr. Leroy Lawson will share his family's experience and offer guidance on how to approach this difficult situation with compassion and the light of Jesus.

Death is a sacred moment for those who have put their trust in Jesus. This is counterintuitive because death doesn’t feel sacred; it feels sad. How can something never meant to exist, be called “precious/sacred?” You’re right. It makes no sense…unless you understand who Jesus is and what Jesus did. God has taken a tragic moment and turned it into a triumphant moment. 

When we view marriage as an opportunity to live out Biblical teachings of love, respect, and submission to God and each other, we benefit from a transformational experience that shapes our hearts and minds.
