Shalyn Nelson - Her Epidural Story, Marriage, Mental Health and Being 100% Herself Online

Shalyn Nelson - Her Epidural Story, Marriage, Mental Health and Being 100% Herself Online

In this episode, which could be a two parter, but it’s all in one, I sit down with Shalyn Nelson. She is truly an open book and shares what exactly happened with her birth story, why she’ll never have an epidural again, and the chronic pain that’s come from having one the first time around. She also opens up about mental health, her diagnosis of androgenetic alopecia and how she’s handling all of these things in her life. Things lighten up when Shay talks about her husband and how they actually fight, even though social media may make you think they don’t. She also touches on how she never actually tried to grow a social media following, but the followers came because she never strays from being 100% herself. We end things with a new segment, Bitching with Becca, and we also share our current favorite things right now. Items linked below.

Becca’s Favorites: Ole Henrikson Balance line, Drunk Elephant Glycolic Serum, Ole Henrikson Goodnight Glow Creme

    Shay’s Favorites: Skinceuticals products

Don't Be Afraid to Share Your Infertility Struggles

In this episode, I sit down with my best friend, Marcie Meredith, to talk about her journey with discovering she had endometriosis and the infertility struggles that came along with it. Marcie opens up, as much as she can, about using IUI (Intrauterine insemination) to conceive her two beautiful children, as well as about the undiagnosed battle with postpartum depression after having her second baby.

Great podcast talking to people you can relate to!

Love that this podcast is real and talks to every day people and strips the fake social media filter everyone has over their lives. It’s nice hearing about other people’s real life successes, struggles and all in a funny light hearted way!
