What I needed to hear
I just listened to episode #52 and I think I cried almost the whole time. I wish someone would have explained those things about anxiety and intrusive thoughts and mom guilt to me when my baby was first born the way Kate just did. My daughter is now 27months and I feel like if I had known so much of this was normal I wouldn’t have spent so many months in misery and a complete shame spiral. I have just recently started coming out of that darkness and my heart aches for anyone else that ever feels these things, but it makes me so happy there are wonderful women in the world like Kate there to help us through it all. You are a light and a gift to moms everywhere!
I love your podcast!! I started following Amy the when she was pregnant with Trey because I was pregnant my daughter during that same time. Well I have been following Abby for over a year now and I just love the message and information you are giving to women. If I knew this information during my first postpartum experience I feel like the transition would’ve went better.
Thank you so much for creating this much needed podcast for women! Keep up the great work! I continue looking forward to the new episodes every Monday!
*When you found out sweet Owen had DS I felt like I was going through it with you. I am a special education teacher so I know my side of things but I don’t ever get to know how the parents are truly feeling and navigating everything.
So Thank You for sharing your journey with me and everyone else ❤️💙
I learn so much with each episode! And I’ve shared so many of them! Thank you for such a great, honest look at life.
