The marathon is finally over. All 82 games of the regular season have been played, Austin Reaves played in all 82 and since Evan forgot to mention that on the pod he's mentioning it here now. Congrats Austin! You're and Ironman. We've locked up no lower than the 8 seed, and will play Denver if we win the Play-in Game and get the 7 seed. Finally we got a week of only wins to talk about. It was only three games, but it still counts. Don't take this away from me! The Lakers do still have an outside shot at the 6 seed. They just had a 5-1 road trip. Don't get your hopes up, but things are trending upwards.

The Lakers almost had their longest winning streak under Darvin Ham's tenure, but of course we can't have nice things around here. Evan was hoping for just one week this season to recap only wins. We're on the home stretch and Evan is doing his best to not get his expectations too high. It's easier this way. The Lakers get hit on the head and forget who they are and then get hit on the head again, and seem to remember. I've seen this sort of thing before. It was everywhere in my childhood. This team is still mediocre, and Darvin Ham is still the biggest reason why. Evan is uncomfortably numb about all of this. He doesn't like it, but there isn't shit he can do about it either.
