In WHAT ABOUT YOU, we dive into Matthew 16 where Jesus asks Peter who he says He is. We join Christian as we take a look at how Jesus asks us to confront the status quo of what society thinks. And we look at how He asks us questions not because He doesn’t know, but because He wants us to think.

Pastor Christian Vargas’ sermon “REMOVED” emphasizes in the importance of “a life at the cross”, and of not serving to be seen. The truth is that we don’t serve God or our equal for gratification, we serve because we love. He explains that God is calling us out of comfort, to “carry our own weight”, every area of our lives back to the point of resurrection of Christ Jesus, but also not to forget the importance of being in awe of who God is. He encourages listeners to question if we are looking for glory or for arguments?

Join us for our Palm Sunday Service, which picks up right where last week left off! Last week we learned to drop the cloak, this week we learn that He’s not done yet. Now that Christ’s set us free, what will we do with it? Jesus died because He loved us to much to leave us where we are. Now, it’s our turn to take His act of love and bring it to the streets. There’s people walking around outside enslaved to hopelessness! Are we ready to bring the hope and healing of God to them?
