Huge comfort during a rough road trip on the way back to my home in NYC. Thanks Hound!

The Hound

The Hound is a mythological figure capable of dishing out the most insightful analysis on contemporary society, the tactile pleasure of fine textures (sonic, olfactory or otherwise), most obscure blues 78 pressing, and the punk esthetics, all within the span of a NY minute. Just imagine what kind of a trip The abound will take you on during an entire show: the joyful trip of a lifetime. Frankly, I don’t listen to podcasts; the only two I do are The Hound’s and Philosophize This’. Highly recommended. Enjoy!

Greasy like it ought to be

If you like your music greasy, rocking and rolling, this is the place. Serving up obscure sides of rock n roll, jump, blues, country, hillbilly and more. If you don't like this show, then you're probably a commie or deaf
