Local Hour: The McFather, McSon, and McHolySpirit
Today's Crew: Dan, Stugotz, Greg, Chris, Billy, Jess, Jeremy. The Florida Panthers are two wins away from their first Stanley Cup in franchise history and South Florida is fired up! So fired up in fact that somebody asked Dan this morning "how about those Gators?!" (Did you see that Super Regional game?!) Canada is still furious with Greg Cote and his take is only gaining steam as Connor McOverrated has yet to score a goal in the Stanley Cup Final. We have also learned that through exclusive reporting straight from The Elbo Room that Connor McDavid is indeed aware of the take. Greg has a new nickname for Sergei Bobrovsky and Dan is in disbelief that the Panthers have suffocated the Oilers offense the way they have.

Hour 2: We Don't Care About Berhalter
Does ANYONE outside of Mike Ryan care about Greg Berhalter? Anyone? Anyone...? And we send Tony back down to the streets to continue his electric conversations with the people of Miami about the Florida Panthers success. Then, the Will Smith Comeback Tour has been boosted by the success of Bad Boys 4, a box office smash. Plus, Christopher Mintz-Plasse joins the show, and unlike last year, he is full of swaggering confidence and unfazed by our mental games as his Celtics continue to rampage the NBA on their quest for a title. Also, Dan definitely insults Christopher toward the end of this interview, but he is too nice to call Dan out.

Hour 1: No Hablo Español
The show wants to campaign for Caitlin Clark to play against the U.S.A. in the Olympics, and Stugotz is furious with both the New York Yankees for merchandise decisions and the NCAA for what he calls an act worthy of a treason charge. Then, Darren Waller is retiring, and the crew sends Tony down to the streets of Miami to talk with the people about their excitement over the Panthers Game 1 win in the Stanley Cup! Plus, as the Celtics are 2 wins away from a championship, Jimmy Butler is publicly flirting with "purple and gold" so Mike and Dan discuss the credit distribution in the Heat's success between Butler and Pat Riley as we head toward an interesting off-season in Miami.

The Big Suey: Don't Tell Them To Go High On Bob!
Dan was infuriated by a driving incident he experienced while in Los Angeles and asks the crew what they'd do if they were in his spot. Then, the return of Frasier and a manufactured culture war around Caitlin Clark. Plus, it's time we dive deep into Florida Panthers talk. After celebrating an incredible young Panthers fan's energy and Mike Ryan's wife screaming "Witty Sucks," Roy, Mike, and Chris break down how the Panthers won Game 1 despite playing one of their worst games of the postseason, the brilliance of Sergei Bobrovsky, and the speed of Connor McDavid.

Local Hour: The Hater Hour
Today's cast: Dan, Stugotz, Chris, Billy, Mike, and Roy. The Celtics took a 2-0 lead in the NBA Finals last night, and somehow Dan and Mike have the gall to call it "unsatisfying" and find a way to criticize Jayson Tatum. Is Tatum being let off the hook by his teammates carrying him? Is he playing like 2011 LeBron? How bad is the Mavericks supporting cast for Luka? Is STUGOTZ somehow the most reasonable analyst on this show? Then, a breakdown of the Ice Cats victory in Game 1 and an argument over the Stanley Cup credential window. Plus, the origins of "ain't my first rodeo," Harry Potter, and Joe Mazzulla's hilarious press conferences.

Greg Cote
I love the show and have been a follower for years. That said, I have less respect for Greg as a journalist because of the Stephen A Smithness he seems to pine after. If you don’t follow a sport like hockey, probably just sit it out, because it’s cringe and unlistenable. I love Greg as a character, I think he’s amazing, but watch the sport before you form an opinion. It’s okay to just say “I’m not a hockey guy.” Do something to better yourself in your own opinions or just grab a bagel when the hockey talk starts.

Nothing will make me hit rewind like a Jessica laugh. Especially when she has to take a breath, and keeps laughing. It’s so genuine & infectious. Unlike the Stugotz laugh, which I fast forward through.
Great show. Stu’s good on women’s sports.
His past play, daughters involvement in lacrosse give him a interesting perspective! be He be an expert in this… Good jawing bout the WNBA w Jess .
