Palm Sunday is often referred to as Passion Sunday. We celebrate the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, but Jesus entered knowing his fate in his journey ahead - death on the cross. Even still, Jesus continued with passionate purpose, knowing that you and I were worth the pain and suffering He was about to bear that week.
This Holy Week, may we be people of passion as we remember Jesus’ sacrifice for us, modeling our lives after the One who came to give us eternal life.
