How To Build Your Skincare Routine with Valerie Roy, model (pt.1‪)‬ Dream Again with Crina Okumus

    • Mental Health

The beauty world is full of myths and urban legends, arguably even more so when it comes to skincare. And while I am not saying you shouldn't listen to the sage skincare advice your mom or grandma gave you, the truth of the matter is, many of the common things we've been lead to believe are that-myths.
So to help separate fact from fiction, I decided to invite a good friend of mine that her skin looks just perfect, she is working as a model in the fashion industry for more than 20 years, doesn't have any commercial interest, and loves to share her long-term secrets that make her skin look perfect - Valerie Roy:

The discussion is split into 3 parts:

1. cleaning
2. acids
3. moisturizing
Valerie Roy, having started her modeling career at Elite Model Management in New York City, successfully became ‘face of the brand’ for numerous products, secured product endorsements, and worked with prominent brands including the following: Gordon’s Gin, Ford Motor Company, Savana Drinks, L’Oreal, Coca-Cola, Stern’s, Nestle, Tag Heuer, Rolex, Bentley, Jafra Cosmetics, Dunhill, Estée Lauder, Stella, Donna Karan, Martell, Woolworth’s Beauty, Philip Morris, and Almay.
She has been featured in several magazines throughout her modeling career such as Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire, Elle, WWD, Shape, Oprah Magazine, Femina, Stitch Fashion Magazine, Kai Zen magazine, and Runner’s World.
She functioned as one of the top models on Project Runway and the accompanying program, Models of the Runway, amassing a positive reputation under the constant scrutiny of reality television. Furthermore, she has acted in television shows such as Black Box, Power, in addition to numerous television commercials.
Her worldly expertise was garnered by engaging with culturally diverse individuals across more than 22 countries including the United States, United Arab Emirates, France, Germany, United Kingdom, South Africa, Switzerland, and Italy while maintaining continuous professional ties.
