You may not know this about me, but I was not always a fan of diving deep into all of the spectrum of human emotions. My former way of coping with feelings of sadness, anxiety, jealousy, and anger used to be 🍨🍫🍪 pints of icecream, boxes of cookies and the infamous m&ms I talk about in both TEDx talks. 😩
 
After many years of doing deep inner work with therapists, coaches, 12-step programs and in my masters degree program in health & wellness coaching, I’m able to now process and experience all of my emotions sans sugar (most of the time). That sentence in itself is a miracle and something I couldn’t say 20 years ago.
