Can you remember the last time someone told you to, "Wait for it..."?

Recently a friend of mine invited me to ride along with him in a Tesla that he rented. He asked if I had ever experienced going from 0 to 60 MPH in 3.1 seconds. To which I told him "No". He then told me to sit back and "wait for it."

The next thing I knew I was seeing spots. When he finally took his foot off the gas and my blood pressure stabilized, I realized what he meant by “wait for it."

This week we are going to notice something very similar happening as it relates to advancing God's kingdom. When we learn how to correctly "wait for it," we too will experience missional acceleration. To put it bluntly, there is nothing like it!

Last past week on Resurrection Sunday we discovered from the testimony of Mary what happens when we encounter the risen Christ - Jesus changes us.

Our lives are not the same. In this message, we are beginning a new series through the book of Acts so we can learn together what life with Jesus is really all about.
