What is Biochar and How Can it Help the Climate?

What is Biochar and How Can it Help the Climate?

As we all know, climate change is happening. It’s no longer some distant future doomsday that we can prevent, it's here. However, there are a LOT of things we can do to minimize the effects and possibly undo some of the damage. One of those things is called biochar. Is that a pokemon? Is it a cartoon supervillain? Actually, no. Biochar is similar to charcoal but it’s not used as a fuel. It is produced by heating biomass with very little oxygen. By restricting the oxygen you prevent it fr...

Riddled with Disinformation

In their episode from May 17 2020, they accuse Jeff Gibbs and Ozzie Zehner of being climate deniers. It is such a ludicrous judgement and warped accusation that the show hosts forfeit any sense of credibility. Simply said, they cannot be trusted. Sadly, it would not surprise me if they were among those geenwashing for profit.

Alexadian ,

Optimistic and informative

This podcast offers information from the experts who know it best. It isn’t about placing blame on anyone, but about understanding how a concept, technology, or system works and how it applies to effectively and positively benefit our current circumstances around climate change. David covers a wide range of topics so listeners can learn and be informed about everything from agriculture to energy and all the possibilities for a positive future.
