2020 Thanksgiving Special
This is the Bobcast Thanksgiving Special for the godforsaken year of 2020. Grab a chair at the kiddie table with me and prepare for a mashed potato war! This is the recipe for this episode - mix one ghost story by Ivy from The Ghoul's Trip blog and Creepin' It Real podcast, add a round of trivia, with questions all about San Diego music stuff with the fine fellows of the Palapalooza podcast and more, finally, slowly blend in a heaping helping of a story of the time Morrissey got what was coming to him. Throw in Crusty's Corner, a new feature of the Bobcast, plus songs by Houseghost, Hiding From Humans and Fun People, voila! THANKSGIVING IS SERVED, Bobcast style.
Episode 82 - Sad Girlz Club Interview
Sad Girlz Club is an insanely great band from Sacramento, California. Well, now San Diego and Sacramento. Travis might be moving soon, too, so I'll just say where they're from doesn't matter, what DOES matter is that they are are phenomenal people and an incredible band. There's an interview with Shelby and Eric of Sad Girlz Club in this one, plus four Sad Girlz songs.
In this episode we travel to North Central and Northwest Arkansas, three haunted locations, to be exact. Cotter Bridge, Mountain Village 1890 of Bull Shoals and The Crescent Hotel of Eureka Springs. A little history, a short story, my paranormal experiences and tales of The Crescent Hotel. Music provided by Murder By Death.
Valerie Knox Interview (Black Cat Attack, The Anti-Queens, The Hybrids & More)
Valerie Knox of Canada. Oh, Canada! Thank you for bringing us Valerie. She's in some of the greatest punk rock, rock n' roll, horror-ish punk bands making the rock music around today. There's an interview with Valerie in this episode, plus two Misfits covers by The Hybrids, Valerie's band that do all Misfits covers, The Anti-Queens with the song "Worse Than Death" and Black Cat Attack setting their phasers to RAD.
I Love The Fest
Gainesville Fest didn't happen in person this year, this horrible joke of a year, 2020. However! "The Fest That Never Was" took place over the Halloween weekend of 2020 and was RAD. Here's my tribute to Fest and six of the bands I would've seen had an actual Fest taken place this year - Wolf-Face, NOMORE, Get Married, Danger Inc., Worriers and War On Women.
Halloween Special with Paranormal Investigator Katie Burr
The 2020 Bobtober Halloween Special is here! Let's get paranormal with Katie Burr, one of the world's greatest ghost hunters! Katie has had experiences that would make lesser people run away in fear, but she handles the hurdles of investigating with grace, style and a curiosity that is inspiring. This special edition of the Bobcast features an interview with Katie, plus two songs - one by Alexisonfire and the other by Thursday. Happy Halloween, happy hunting, happy hauntings? Indeed.

Solid use of words.
I could listen to Bob talk about anything for just about an hour so this podcast is nice. Thanks, Bob.
Bob is so eloquent.
I’m not exactly sure how I found out about this podcast, but I am really really glad I did. There was a time in my life about 15 years ago, when I was hanging out pretty regularly in escondido, with pukey mcguire, Matty awesome, and all the incredible bands that came through town. Tiltwheel has always been one of my favorite bands, and it’s really cool hearing Bob talking about all kinds of interesting things. I’m really enjoying this. It actually feels like I’m hanging out with Bob. The sound quality and editing are great making this quite easy to listen to. Keep being awesome Bob!!!
