Love this show
Long time listener of Kevin. Love when Thom and Cooley are on as well. This is where I come to get all of my local teams news. Nobody is better in the DMV.
What about Nelly?
Kevin, I am disappointed that you have not mentioned Nelly Korda. (Did I miss it?) If the year was over, she would be my pick for athlete of the year.
I love the podcast. There is no sports podcaster or radio sports broadcaster that is better prepared. Of course the exception is when you try to talk about medical issues and allergy medications.
Name or Logo?
Kevin, love the show and always appreciate your take and finger on the pulse of the name issue, fan base and history of the football team. I’m curious if you would agree that those who don’t like the Commanders name would be more satisfied by the return of the old logo than any specific name? In other words, with the old logo, uniforms, etc. most fans probably wouldn’t care if the name was Warriors, Americans, WFT or even Washington FC! That more than anything else emphasizes the “expansion team” feel that you describe to me, and why WFT or Commanders have not inspired me because they feel sterile and lacking any depth. Would new ownership or league be willing to consider such a compromise?
