EP 43 The PH Journals Story

Welcome to PH Journals, the podcast where we delve into the heart of conservation through the eyes of a passionate Professional Hunter. My journey into the world of hunting and conservation began in 2003, when at the age of 13, I accompanied my father on a hunt that would change my life forever.
PH Journals was born from my belief that hunting, when conducted responsibly and sustainably, is essential for the preservation of the wildlife I hold dear. Through this podcast, I aim to shed light on the critical role that Professional Hunters play in conservation, despite the industry's often harsh criticism.
I decided to share this episode with everyone as its nice to put a story of the hunter and the man behind the podcast.

Sue Tidwell ,

Love Dylan’s openness and honesty.

What I love most about PH Journals is that Dylan’s is so honest about his feelings and struggles. I really respect the fact he believes hunts in Africa are more about the experience than the harvest itself. That is sure what I enjoyed most on my trips to Africa. In fact, the harder the hunt, the more treasured and memorable the experience was. I like that he feels it is important to give clients the best African experience possible, even though the PH’s have done it thousands of times. Plus, I love that conservation is such a main focus of his shows. You can tell that protecting wildlife and its habitat is not just a talking point for him. He means it. Anyway, I highly recommend Dylan’s podcasts!
