Fun banter
Love the stories from the players. Benny, Sal and Ike do a great job with the show.
My Favorite Podcast
Such a fun show to get stories that might not otherwise surface. The team has great chemistry, using their personal experiences in soccer and their friendships with the guests to bring life to discussions. Always so excited to see a new episode is available.
Most insightful football pod
Listen to Gordon, Grella, and Wynalda. The best episodes. But honestly, all of them are wonderful. I’m a big fan of Ike (lived in Minnesota for years and went to many Minnesota games before they were in MLS, and have been lucky enough to photograph matches professionally—have some great photos of Ike shutting offenses down). Anyway, you don’t get this sort of insight in many other pods. I like Guardian Football Weekly as they are great journalists, but they aren’t getting great stories form Gordon. I am, however, worried about Benny’s memory. He seems to forget a lot! Get some fish oil pills, Benny! I kid, I kid. Sal is also a wonderful human and great host. Incredible work from this trio.
