Wisdom for Higher Education - A Dean’s Leadership Matched with a Skilled DEI Leader

I just listened to the final episode of season 3, “The Dean Speaks: A Conversation with Indy Burke.” There is so much wisdom in the episode for Higher Education. The mindset, commitment, and strategies from the dean paired with a DEI professional and leader steeped in higher education experience. The trust and support that each reveal in this episode is a major key to success in creating a culture change around DEI goals. Each clearly show how an organization can move to accomplishing DEI goals by creating an environment where people can truly engage in conversations, feel safe to make mistakes and learn from them from a dean or DEI professional, and at the same time be challenged and inspired.
