SolderSmoke Podcasts Bill Meara

This is one of my favorites. Bill and Pete have a nice style while discussing electronics. I’m a neophyte regarding electronics building, and I wish they would do a handful of “beginners” shows. It’s still quite a good podcast and I’m learning just by listening.

I’m seriously surprised to see so many visceral reactions regarding the 10/31/2020 podcast. I think these guys have taken a moderate position, and since the dismal behavior of our former president the next January.... I think Bill and Pete’s position was vindicated.

Bill built this podcast, it’s his podcast... and he has every right to take a position.

If you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything.

I hope Bill and Pete keep making podcasts for a long time!

I find it disgusting that they felt it necessary to bring politics into radio regardless of what side of the spectrum you find yourself on. Remember the good old days where you kept politics and religious opinions to yourself?

Lot to learn , very enjoyable. Unfortunately the anti trump bias or rather bigotry is not appreciated, of very poor professional standard. NO PLACE FOR POLITICS. ANY FLAVOR, particularly when such opinion are so poorly informed. Too bad for all
