We discuss movies from all eras prior to a decade ago and determine if they still hold up or not. We look at the directing, cinematography, acting, writing, and everything else before making our final decision. Some movies we are watching for the very first time and others we have seen more time than we can count. Join us on our journey to see what does and what doesn’t hold up.

Customer Reviews
Finding something good & bad
Aside from having a broad selection of films in their catalog, as well as being funny and entertaining. One of the best parts about DIHU is that even if the movie isn’t good, there is still a discussion of the things that do hold up. Vice versa, they also point out in GREAT movies that there are qualities that bring the movie down some points.
Okay
In the November 22, 2023 episode about “10 Things I Hate About You,” I don’t know how Emily didn’t walk out when Adam went on that asinine and pedantic riff about the word “The” in movie titles. It definitely should’ve been left on the cutting room floor (or better yet, shouldn’t have happened). Inspired me to leave this review. Adam also felt really proud of himself/was mind-blown noticing that this movie title rhymes with Taming of the Shrew. All of this happened before 2.5 minutes of the episode went by. UPDATE: currently listening to The Martian episode (March 2024) and Adam continues to be insufferable on his smugness. He literally said the word “false” to Emily, as though he’s the purveyor of correct information. I don’t listen to every episode, but I came back to this podcast, hoping it might’ve improved. Such a shame; this could’ve been a good podcast. I hope Emily moves on to better things soon.
Love it!
You guys give great facts, plus the episodes are incredibly funny. Y’all are in my rotation now 👌🏼😁
