175 - Last Christmas
"Sometimes you gotta have faith"
Join the gang this week as we dissect a movie so wild that it seems plucked from mid-80s pop lyrics. And get this, the plot is 1000% lifted from the song "Last Christmas." It's crazy, but trust us, this movie exceeded our expectations. Emma Thompson crafted a masterpiece, perfect for shedding a few tears during the holiday season. 🎬🎄

174 - The Family Man
"Hi Jack"
Join the gang this week while they, and special guest Jeff May, break down this truly bonkers movie. Is Nic Cage just a dick for like 90% of this film? Oh yea. Does this movie fundamentally misunderstand what "poor" is? Yes. But is Téa Leoni stunning? Absolutely. We think you'll really enjoy this episode.

"She's bringing home the perfect boyfriend...even if it's a federal offense"
Join the gang this Thanksgiving while we breakdown Holiday in Handcuffs. Because we aren't going to let Thanksgiving stop us from celebrating Christmas early. Will Christmas Mikey make an appearance? Will Todd sing carols? Will Paige talk about her literal run-ins with Mario Lopez? You know it. Enjoy!

172 - Dave
"In a country where anybody can become President, anybody just did"
Join the gang this week where we break down a movie so crazy you barely realize that everyone is committing treason against the United States. Do we notice the coup attempt? Yup. Do we wish there was an actual love story in this movie? Absolutely. Do we talk, AT LENGTH, about Kevin Kline's dick? You know it. Enjoy!

171 - Peggy Sue got Married
"She awoke in the past with a chance to rebuild her future... But doesn't"
Join the gang this week while we break down a movie where no one really grows, no one really learns anything, and the terrible man gets to go on being terrible and the lead in the movie just ends up back with him. It's honestly like this movie is terrible. And don't get us wrong. It is. But it's so terrible it's almost a work of art.

170 - Bringing Down the House
"Everything he needed to know about life, she learned in prison."
Join the gang this week while we try to catfish Steve Martin into introducing us to the Queen. Will Queen Latifah be able to help Mikey realize that in order for him to find love he will need to make space for love? Will Todd and Steve Martin dress like Malibu's Most Wanted? Will Paige get exasperated and just say "Anyway"? Find out now while we break down Bringing Down the House!

Customer Reviews
Humorous, Insightful, and a Gay Ole’ Time
This podcast along with it’s sister podcast, The Horror Virgin, have become two of my favorite podcasts. I especially look forward to Pride Month every year when our fine trio here make sure to highlight gay and queer stories. As a queer man, it’s not too often I hear popular podcasts make an effort to truly highlight our stories that aren’t already queer focused. The episodes of The Birdcage and Fire Island are two of my favorite episodes that I revisit frequently and are two movies that hold a special place in my heart. Too often I feel in the name of representation Queer film is put onto a higher pedestal than other works because it must check certain boxes to be seen as good and worthwhile. I always feel Paige, Mikey and Todd truly handle these movies with grace and see them as the individual pieces or art they are meant to be while comparing it to the bigger picture. There is incredible nuance in their discussions that I sometimes feel others lack.
Paige, Mikey, and Todd always manage to find a good balance of humor and seriousness while discussing these films and I always appreciate the insightfulness they do bring to their analysis. I also appreciate their personal anecdotes they bring to each discussion.
Also with all the discussions about Rupaul’s Drag Race, I do hope to see some drag movies in future episodes. While I don’t want to make requests in a review, I dream of the animated discussions our fine hosts would have on movies like Priscilla: Queen of the Desert or Too Wong Foo. Thank you for always giving a smile to my face each week when a new episode drop.
K Turner wasn’t in Top Gun
It was Kelly McGillis. Love you guys!
