The Horror Virgin
What’s your favorite scary movie? Are you a fanatic or a fraidy-cat? Either way, we’ve got you covered. Each week, horror fans Mikey and Paige will take Horror Virgin Todd through the encyclopedia of horror one movie at a time. We’ll discuss classics as well as fan favorites, with the occasional new release thrown in for good measure. Mikey will make inappropriate jokes and Todd will scream like a little girl at every jump scare. It’s hilarious. Prepare yourself for spoilers, tangents, and lots of irreverent fun. Just a delightful podcast when you need something in your ear. Also, rooting for an episode on Prom Night 2: Hello Mary Lou.
The pod that started it all!

Long time listener, first time reviewer! Been listening to this podcast since I saw Hereditary in the theater and months later STILL didn’t have anyone to talk about how scared I was with, so I decided to try listening to a podcast for the first time to hear people freak about it as much as I did. The hosts have changed over the years but the show evolves adapts, and keeps getting better as it goes. I miss Mikey and his blend of mental health expertise and comedy dearly, Paige is hilarious and insightful, and Todd’s dedication to the show and his discussions on mental health and personal growth are always deeply appreciated. Every listen is like one of those great conversations with friends where you laugh, you get a little vulnerable with each other, you maybe go a little TMI from time to time, and you always talk about the last crazy pants movie you saw (probably together, and you’re still not over it). Love the pod and everything that you folks do for us fans on the daily :)

Body horror/80s
Sep 5
I’m two years behind, so maybe they’ve learned but they seem to think blood and guts is body horror. Somebody getting chopped up by Jason or Michael Myers is just slasher violence. Body horror is the human body being changed in disgusting ways like in The Fly or Society. If you weren’t alive in the 80s or barely cognizant, stop telling us what the 80s were like. “well, in the 80s…” or “it was the 80s, so…”. And the answer to any question about the 80s isn’t always cocaine.
