The right kind of friends

This is what a good Marco Polo would be like if it was in real time and with a best friend. It’s also what “counseling together” looks like. These are the kinds of conversations that help us learn and grow in meaningful ways, build relationships, and ground us in our faith. I adore these women, though we’ve never met and likely never will. They are real, they are raw, and they are powerful in all the best ways.

Uplifting but not overwhelming

I especially loved the episode on prayer. Holly, the thoughts you shared about how you pray in the car have helped me so much this week. I have struggled for years to get into a habit of saying prayers, and I just can’t do it! So last week instead of listening to Marco polos or audible on the way home from dropping off my kids at school, I prayed. And it felt wonderful. I really needed it, and I hope to continue doing it.
