Reporting B_Don To H.R.
On this week’s episode of the Razzball Fantasy Baseball Podcast, Grey and B_Don talk about the recent call ups and what these players might do for your teams. Can Hurston Waldrep and Drew Thorpe help your pitching? What about Adael Amador and Tyler Locklear for your offense?
Then, we move on to some of the unexpected names at the top of the 30 day player rater. Heliot Ramos has been hitting since his promotion. Is this the time that he sticks? Luis Gil has been a stud, and are you allowed to say what your own over/under bet would be if you set the line? Nolan Gorman may have been dropped across the board in April, but somebody has been benefiting from his numbers over the last month. -
Who Is The New #1?
On this week’s Razzball Fantasy Baseball Podcast, Grey and B_Don start the show with the end of Angel Hernandez’s career and how Jorge Lopez figured out how to escape the Mets. After that, we move on to some call ups in Henry Davis, Connor Norby, Justyn-Henry Malloy, and Pete Crow-Armstrong.
After the prospect talk, we move on to discuss who the new #1 overall should be for the rest of the season. With the return of Wyatt Langford, we run through a game of which disappointing outfielder would you rather roster. With the injury bug running through the pitching landscape, are any of the injury replacements worth picking up? We wrap up the show with a couple big closer injuries, waiver wire bats, and streaming pitchers options for your roster. -
Acuna Needs New Knees
On this week's episode of the Razzball Fantasy Baseball Podcast, Grey and B_Don do their best to support each other through these tough times as the #1 player from 2023, Ronald Acuña Jr., has received some terrible injury news. What does it mean for the Braves lineup and who might be coming in for more playing time?
As we’ve reached a third of the way through the season, the guys discuss how you might approach players that are not performing up to standards. Julio Rodriguez hasn’t performed up to his high standards, but both of us are shocked about the Mariners choice to move him in the lineup. JRod was once the hot call up, but are there any prospects this year that you should be rostering to get ahead of the impending FAAB spending.
We go through some of the AL east pitching to discuss a couple of possible breakouts in Clarke Schmidt and Tanner Houck. The Orioles had their rotation shaken up due to injury, but are there any opportunities to take advantage of in their replacements. The show ends as usual with some bullpen SAGNOF talk, waiver wire pickups, and streaming options. -
Angels In The Sportsbook
Grey and B_Don are back for another episode of the Razzball Fantasy Baseball Podcast. We open with the David Fletcher news as we wonder what kind of back room casino is running out of the Angels facility. Then, it’s on to a couple of the top bats from the last week in Bryson Stott and Adley Rutschman.
The Yankees bash brothers are back in action, but where do they fit in the rankings ROS. Are bounce backs from Yu Darvish and (gulp) Alek Manoah a reality? We think this Paul Skenes kid might be alright. How concerned are we about the Edwin Diaz ‘fluid’ reliever role (and other bullpen news)? We wrap up the show with waiver wire and streaming options for your roster help. -
Squares, Swords, and Blasts
Grey and B_Don are back for another episode of the Razzball Fantasy Baseball Podcast. We start off the show by talking about the new stats that have been released and how we might use them, or not. Next up, is the much anticipated debut of Livvy Dunne’s boyfriend, Paul Skenes. What can we expect rest of season from the top pitching prospect and where does he rank among SPs?
Robert Gasser may not have the prospect pedigree of Skenes, however, that did not stop him from having a great debut. Alek Manoah had a nice outing against the Twins, but can you even think about trusting him? After Max Fried’s came close to his second combined no hitter of the season, the guys talk about where he belongs among pitchers rest of the season.
Then, we move on to a quarter mark of the season version of everybody’s favorite game, Scientific Fact, Sex Panther, or I Don’t Believe You with some of the most surprising and most disappointing players so far. As usual, we finish up with some bullpen talk followed by waiver wire and streaming options. -
Marlins Folding In May
Grey and B_Don are back for another episode of the Razzball Fantasy Baseball Podcast. It’s only May and the Marlins have declared they don’t intend to compete as they began trading away assets with Luis Arraez. What does it mean for Arraez and what impact might it have in Miami.
We move on to the week’s call ups in Kyle Manzardo, Tyler Black, Christian Scott, Bryan Ramos, Brett Harris, Mason Black, and the return of Jack Leiter. We’ll figure out the nickname for Leiter eventually, but you can listen to find out what we think of each of them and what leagues we think they’re worth picking up.
We discuss some of the recent top performers like Brent Rooker. Along with some names we didn’t expect to see in Wenceel Perez, Ben Lively, and Brett Harris. As usual, we wrap up the show with some closer talk, waiver wire targets, and some streaming options.
Customer Reviews
One of the best
One of my favorite pods. Makes me laugh every time and Grey’s takes are the best.
Please figure out the echo issue though. It happens sometimes times when B_don goes to Grey and it’s pretty rough on the ear holes!
Grey Albright is a keyboard weenie
I Cancelled razzball ya dope. Do you know your best customers play on NFC site?
Somewhat informative somewhat funny
I think the mix needs adjusting. Sometimes I just want to get to the stats and the one guy is rambling about things that don’t matter. I can see how it’s entertaining to some, but for me, I like 15%-20% humor/nonsense and the rest info that helps me win my league. 3 ⭐️’s
