I live in O’ Fallon, Mo and I’m pretty sure we have crossed paths at the Alamo. I like how you all stand your ground and stand by your opinions. It’s encouraging to say the least. Please keep doing exactly what your doing and I’ll keep listening. Five stars and subscribed. Happy trails and safe travels.

Great podcast

Hey guys, Love the podcast. Been listening to it for years. Just listened to the Oppenheimer review, real quick as you may not know, when Oppenheimer shows Einstein the equations that show the possibility of a nuclear explosion destroying the planet, and Einstein gives the equations back saying something like “I was never the best at math”, it is not meant to be a humble brag. Einstein was a genius for putting the pieces together in new creative ways for his theory of relativity but he had substantial help from his friends and colleagues who where more gifted mathematicians with the supporting equations for his papers and theories that made him famous. And in an early paper/publication from Einstein that was a precursor to the publications that made Einstein famous there was actually a mathematical error in the paper. So when Einstein says something like “I wasn’t the best at math” I think it is meant more to be a joke for science nerds who would know that Einstein had substantial help from his colleagues with the mathematics for his theories. There was some dialogue in the beginning of the movie that alluded to the fact that the best theoretical physicists, i.e. Oppenheimer and Einstein, are not necessarily the best mathematicians which is its own speciality, but it was hard to pick up on unless you already knew that.

Dune 2 episode was criminal

1 hos found the movie to slow to provide a meaningful review. Seems like an attention issue as most viewers found Dune extremely captivating. The other host spoiled a huge plot point to Dune 3 in the first 5min of the episode. Why did he do that? How many listeners did he think read the Dune books???
