Thanks for getting me into movies!

I really love listening to the slash film cast. I started listening regularly as I turned to watching more movies in the aftermath of the 2016 election and this podcast was very helpful. Not only do you provide me with great recommendations that reaches across all different types of movies, there is also some wonderful film analysis. Though I may not always agree with certain takes I am almost always interested, engaged, and entertained. Congrats on reaching over 500 podcasts and best of luck going forward.

Thank you! One of my favs!

This group of podcasters is one my favorites and one of the best out there. I have been listening faithfully for two years. You guys have been with me through so many drives including my over 40,000 miles on the road this year for work! I don’t always agree with your views but I appreciate them and because of your discussions have really opened my mind to critically thinking about film. And special thanks for recommends such as Train to Busan which has become of my favorites!

One Problem...

First, the Negative:
The hosts of this show live in the "big city/left coast" bubble; every show is laced (and sometimes more than laced) with their overt political correctness, SJW sensibilities, and extreme left opinions. It sometimes seems to color their evaluation of movies; what seems to me to be a great film will be hated-on due to a lack of ethnic diversity, etc. It's tiring, after a while, and I am investigating podcast alternatives.
The Positive: These guys are hilarious at times, and I do enjoy the conversations. I like the format, and do appreciate the "What We've Been Watching" segments, since it gives me ideas in a sea of options. I will admit that I have learned a lot about how films are made, listening to them.
