Must-listen podcast

This podcast is a must if you are interested in the doctrine of the Trinity. Dr. Tuggy has spent years of his life analyzing, thinking, and presenting ideas related to Trinity theories. Even though I have only listened to a few episodes (along with Dr. Tuggy’s most recent debates with Michael Brown and Chris Date), I have already been exposed to several interesting new ideas about various versions of the Trinity. If you are a Trinitarian apologist looking to understand more about your position and other possible positions, Dr. Tuggy’s arguments should prove challenging and enlightening. If you are somewhere along the Trinitarian-Unitarian spectrum holding a “non-traditional” perspective, Dr. Tuggy’s insights will absolutely help your reflection and consideration of logic and Scripture. Overall, this is an excellent podcast.

Best source I’ve found for intellectual and honest questioning of the dogmatic trinity doctrine

I’ve been questioning the trinity for many years, doing my own research with the information that I have available. The challenge has been to find good sources to honestly look at this issue without biases of denominations or preaching. This podcast looks at the issue from deep philosophical, theological, and biblical perspectives and has a great representative of experts from all persuasions. I’m only on episode 50 but I’m looking forward to them all! Thank you!

Was going to be 5 stars...

...until the latest episode, the description of which ridicules Mormons. Sad to see that low point.

Other than the above I strongly recommend this podcast. I am not a Mormon or another kind of Christian, but he’s philosophically and historically convinced me of the non-trinitarian worldview of the old and new testaments (given the ground rule of inerrant scripture). Having been raised Catholic, I never gave much thought to the trinity- and that’s the problem: neither have most Christians. Yes, “a man attested by God” turns out to be the best description of Jesus of Nazareth in scripture.

This show also has the best tag line in theological podcasts: Do you love god enough... to think about him?
