I'll have what she's having Hey, Boomer

    • Mental Health

Dr. Jane Fleishman is a Certified Sex Educator. She gave a TED talk titled "Is it OK for Grandma to have sex?" and she recently published a book titled "The Stonewall Generation: LGBTQ Elders on Sex, Activism and Aging."
In our conversation we spoke about sex and intimacy. We talked about how hormonal changes, physical changes, psychological changes and medications all can affect our desire and sexual pleasure. Jane does a great job of normalizing all the feelings that may be part of aging and sexuality.

We also spoke about elders needs for intimacy and respect in senior living facilities as well as what her research has shown about sex and intimacy in aging members of the LGBTQ community.

We encourage you to support our partner, Life Line Screening.

People over the age of 50 are at higher risk for stroke and cardiovascular disease.
Life Line Screenings are easy, painless and non-invasive and you’ll learn your risk factors for strokes and cardiovascular disease.
