Illumine. Have you heard this word before? It’s the direct line to illumination. It’s the act of clarifying, which only eventually leads to clarity. But what if it was also defined as ‘the will to live’? What if Illumine is the unknown that lives inside all of us?
Welcome to the Illumine podcast, with your host Sarah Shedd. Each week we sit down with filmmakers, writers, actors, fine-artists, and healers to share stories and answer the why behind creativity itself. We’ll discuss the context of a project, a dream, or a mission and get to its core — we will see why and how each core shines. Produced by Sophie Kohn, we invite you to open your minds, and your hearts, to greater luminosity.

Dean is the founder of Great Way Martial Arts and Longmont Acupuncture Clinic. He began traveling to China and throughout the U.S. in the mid 80’s to study with Master Wang Peisheng, Daniel K. Pai and Share K. Lew to learn their martial arts and advanced internal energy systems. He is passionate about sharing Taoist Meditations, Tai Chi & Qi Gong due to the profound effects they are known to have on body, mind and spirit.
