    Changing the Collective Unconscious for Good

    Ellen brings out her Wonder Woman powers to bring about a change in Clive’s take on a vital question for intention work–should we seek to change the collective unconscious? In this week’s episode, we talk about what this universal field actually is and how it relates to common theories to the well-known teaching of psychologist Carl Jung, before turning attention to the key question–can and should we consciously seek to impact it? If the answer is yes, it may be that where matters like wiping the slate clean on collective beliefs about gender equality, the question is then not so much about should we, but becomes an imperative that we must. Using gender equality as a practical focus, we explore the importance for mindful, non-controlling intentions aimed at the highest good, exercising energetic responsibility as a way to contribute positively to the collective.     Immersive Prayer: Harnessing Intention to Heal the World

    In this episode Ellen interviews Clive to celebrate the release of his new book, Immersive Prayer: The Power to Change Ourselves and Change our World, and explore how intention, interfaith teachings, and scientific research converge to deepen prayer and collective healing. They discuss embodied practice over ritual, heart‑mind connection, practical tools for staying grounded, and the role of contemplative activism in our own spiritual journeys. Clive describes how prayer takes on a meaning closer to "living in Spirit" when we recognise and invite a partnership with the divinity within us, and touches on where prayer and intention holding come together.     Counting Backwards on Equality: Why Gender Parity Could Take 123 Years

    As delegates meet at the UN  for the 70th session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women, the state of equality for many women in the world remains dire. The World Economic Forum’s 2025 Global Gender Gap Index shows the world at about 69% of the way to achieving gender parity, and at the current trend, needing a staggering 123 years for full equality to be achieved. Few countries are moving forward at a pace, with analysis carried out ahead of this year’s Commission on the Status of Women warning that women’s rights are regressing in many contexts, as laws have been reshaped to restrict women’s freedoms, silence their voices and allow abuse without consequence. In this week’s episode we take stock of the huge gap for women achieving equality and fair access to justice, seeing where we may hone in with our intentions and prayers. We explore what’s behind the global backsliding, including legal barriers and threats from restrictive laws and technology, and in a specific case that will resonate with many of our listeners, assess the disproportionate impact on women inherent in the SAVE Act legislation currently being proposed in the USA.     In Touch with the Higher Self — A Deep Dive with Anton Jarrod

    In an inspiring episode, Clive talks to Anton Jarrod, host of the deeply thoughtful podcast The Higher Self Dialogues. Anton helps us understand what the Higher Self is, how it may relate to concepts such as the soul, Source and authentic self, and what role it may play in intercession and intention holding. We reflect on the podcast’s fascinating exploration of the perspective the Higher Self may take into some of the big issues of the day, such as whether AI may help or hinder humanity’s awakening, and what is really driving the immigration crisis.     Emergency Episode: Prayers and Intentions as US, Israel & Iran Launch Attacks

    As news breaks of the much-threatened US/Israel-Iran military action now put into action, we turn attention to where our prayers and intentions may be most needed. At the time of recording, the U.S. and Israel have launched what is being described as a major attack on Iran, targeting a large number of sites across the country. Iran has responded with an attack on the US fleet headquarters in Bahrain, and firing missiles into northern Israel. Its Foreign Ministry issued a defiant statement, saying that the country “will not hesitate” in its response. Explosions have also been heard in Qatar and Kuwait, while both Hezbollah in Lebanon have threatened to respond in defence of Iran, provoking potential new conflict with Israel, Iranian-backed Houthis in Yemen have vowed to resume attacks on Red Sea shipping routes. The scale of casualties isn’t currently known. In this episode, rather than offering our usual deep dive to understand the background to a topic, we move quickly to offer suggested prayers and intentions. This emergency episode offers immediate intention and prayer points for those affected and for leaders who can de-escalate the situation.     Between History and Security: South Korea and Japan's Uneasy Relationship

    This week we unpack the complex and often fraught relationship between South Korea and Japan — tracing historical grievances from Japan's colonial rule and wartime abuses, key disputes like comfort women, forced labor rulings, and over the Dokdo/Takeshima islands, and recent diplomatic steps toward cooperation. At a time when North Korea is building up its nuclear arsenal and China has responded with fury to Japan’s indication of support in the event of invasion of Taiwan, this cooperation has perhaps never before been more needed for ensuring stability in the Indo-Pacific region as a whole. The U.S. is watching closely, expecting its allies to play a greater part in protecting their own security. Intentions and prayers start at 20 minutes 23 seconds.
